Description |
PMFME scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme that is designed to address the challenges faced by the micro enterprises and to tap the potential of groups and cooperatives in supporting the upgradation and formalization of these enterprises. Horticulture department in our State is the State Nodal Agency for implementation of the scheme |

Nature of Assistance |
Support to Individual Micro Enterprises - Individual Micro Food Processing Units will be provided with credit linked capital subsidy @35% of eligible project cost with maximum ceiling of Rs 10 Lakh per unit (Beneficiary contribution minimum 10 % of project cost)
Support to Group Category: - Grant@35% with credit linkage and a ceiling of Rs 3Crores, maximum project cost Rs 10 Crores

Support under Loan |
The scheme now supports new and existing enterprises both under ODOP and non- ODOP enterprise categories
For individual Micro enterprises, the cost of rental or lease work shed is to be excluded in the project cost.

Negative List of activities |
1. Trading and selling of unprocessed Millets/ Cereals/ Spices etc
2. Unprocessed or lose milk (Selling of milk/ curd)
3. Trading and selling of Fruits and Vegetables
4. Bee Keeping/ Loose selling of Honey
5. Loose selling, trading and repacking of oil
6. Trading and selling of groundnut, arecanut
7. Poultry, piggery, goatry or any other rearing activity of animals
8. Trading and selling of Fresh Fish/ Meat/ Chicken etc
9. Repacking of manufacture products
10. Canteen, grocery, hotel, tiffin services, restaurants or any other food services enterprises
